Setting by user
A number of Guides will guide the user step by step through the first installation of the software and the necessary settings, i.e. particularly definition of new Users, creation of User groups, Profiles and various System parameters and Communication parameters.

The system is multilingual. Users may choose the language in which they wish to work with the system. The language is selected during defining of user in the program. In addition, it is possible to define a Standard user on the basis of which individual access rights may be adjusted. Functional profiles for specified options may be set by means of a tree structure. Data profiles set the data that are available to user or group of users for displaying and working with it.

MultiCash Classic - Communication
For communication between clients and the bank, MultiCash supports a number of standard protocols.
It includes all the necessary elements for a safe communication (electronic signature, encryption, compression and check of the format). It is developed in such a way to comply with the highest security standards and is subject to external audits. The benefit of the MCFT protocol is a distributed electronic signature allowing authorization of transactions from a remote place. MultiCash supports all available communication channels, i.e. Modem - Modem, ISDN, TCP/IP. Communication through Internet has been fully integrated.

Electronic signature
The function of electronic signature allows signing of the file of payments to be sent, electronically by means of the user´s RSA secret key. This ensures irrefusability and incontestability of the payments made. The electronic signature module allows generation of the user´s common and secret key during installation and its later change, as the case may be.

File manager
File manager is the central point for displaying the flow of information and instructions between clients and the bank. File manager allows signing of files (up to six signatures) and ensures communication. All items of information are audited and available for reference purposes and monitoring.
Payment modules
MultiCash payment modules provide the user with a convenient system of acquisition and administration of payment instructions including the following benefits:
  • Support of automatic processing through the use of standardized data formats

  • Individualized administration of users with access rights and verification options

  • Minimization of errors through syntactic checks of individual fields

  • Reduction of time-consuming procedures and costs through a number of auxiliary databases for frequently used data (accounts, recipients, etc.)

  • Daily check of regular standard orders, standing orders and orders with variable amounts

  • Openness through clearly defined export and import interfaces.

Supported is also acquisition of Single, Standing and Term orders (orders with variable amounts). Entering of orders may be facilitated by means of pre-defined templates.

Effective date of orders is set according to the current date of the system, unless it is set otherwise by the user.

Verification levels may be set in such a way which requires confirmation of each payment instruction by a second authorized user and, if necessary, it is possible to set also the limit of the payment order.

All payment options used in a country are supported by the Domestic payments module (e.g. transfers, debit payments, urgent payments).

In case of foreign payments and international payments it is possible to add additional data, such as data on fees and charges, instructions for the bank and references to the respective forex contract. The RFT (MT101) module allows also directing payments to third party banks. Thus, these modules are ideal for the support of the international multi-bank payment network.

Access to the payment modules and individual functions is provided only to the authorized user.

Administration of individual payment modules contains a number of optional settings according to the user´s needs. Available is also the function of backup and recovery of the database. Special emphasis is put on the protection of data prior to its manipulation.

Auxiliary databases facilitate entering of frequently used data (e.g. the order party, recipients, banks, accounts, currencies, etc.). Auxiliary databases may be adjusted either manually or by import of data from other systems.

Creation of an order - Order may be created as a single or standing one or as an order with a variable amount. After its creation, the order may be saved as a sample order for a future use. When entering orders, all mandatory fields are highlighted in colour. All recurring data may be entered by selection directly from auxiliary databases. The system notifies the user of the due date of standing orders and orders with a variable amount.

Verification and approval of data may be assigned to different users and the verification levels may be set appropriately.

Sending of orders to the bank - after verification, the due orders are concentrated in one or more payment files to be sent to the bank (banks) and the user starts up communication with the bank. According to the system setting, one or more electronic signatures are required. Alternatively, it is possible to save the file temporarily and send it to the bank later or create a file of instructions on diskette and send it by mail.

Payment history
provides the user with the possibility to display the history of each transaction. All items of information on the payment files are displayed on one screen. As a result the user can see immediately who is responsible for data approval, signature and sending of the orders. In addition, the communication status and data on archiving are recorded here.

Import of payment files generated by third party systems is supported by all payment modules. Supported is also the standard format used in the given module or the text file defined by the user. Imported orders require verification and electronic signature prior to their sending to the bank.

Export of order to other applications may be performed in the form of the text files defined by the user.

Available are also different reports and protocols, including statements of payable payments, summary and detailed printed reports of payment files etc..
